CHASIS
Heavy duty 4” diameter DOM steel frame built to original specifications. Door hinge, steering column and windshield pickup-points incorporated onto main chassis.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
This car is equipped with a Carroll Shelby engine company all aluminum 427 FE big block motor and a TKO 600 5speed transmission.
INTERIOR
Your CSX will feature all new Shelby signature gauges with back lighting. An original style reverse wind speedometer is standard on all 427 S/C models. Original wooden style moto-lita steering wheels complete the driving experience. Optional glove boxes are available and recommended. Door map pockets are available and offer storage for a variety of items. Leather interior packages are available and feature an upgraded leather dash, door map pockets, and seating surfaces. Original style door lock assemblies along with aluminum door trim are used to maintain immaculate fit and finish.
SUSPENSION
Fully independent front and rear suspension utilizing dual a-arms with premium coil-overs for adjustability.
EXTERIORS
Black quick lifts are standard for every 427 S/C Cobra, we do offer polished quick lifts as an up charge. Along with polished quick lifts, full bumper sets are available to give the car a classic roadster look.
Standard hood scoops are featured on every Cobra. These scoops have the original style rivets and functionality. The Monza style fuel filler is sure to draw attention and is just another feature that shows the racing heritage of these Cobras. Locking gas caps are standard.
Polished stainless steel drivers side roll bar is standard and fully functional. A black roll bar is optional.
Original halibrand style wheels are used with an authentic pin drive system. The “knock-offs” are built to last and are just another feature of this authentic Shelby Cobra, 15” tires are supplied, optional Good Year Billboards are available.
BODY
Hand laid pressed aluminum body. Hand laid aluminum panels with steel tube reinforcements in all openings. Where body points carry loads, they are reinforced with steel bars or panels. Bodies are bonded to chassis and are completely non-stressed. All bodies are supplied painted in base coat and clear coat urethane finish.
ENGINE BAY
The 427 S/C Cobra is equipped with a Carroll Shelby Engine Company all aluminum 427FE big block motor. Not only do these aluminum big blocks look amazing they are among the best engines built today.
High flow 4 core radiators are used along with a large electric fan to ensure there are no thermal problems with your collectible.
BRAKES
Shelby 427 S/C car feature premium Shelby branded 4 piston calipers with 12” race quality rotors. These cars are equipped with dual master cylinders for added performance.
